Twin Ball Flail
In the right hands the Twin Ball Flail could be a devastating weapon. It was capable of inflicting terrible wounds and could cause damage through all but the toughest of armour. It could be used on horseback or on foot and had greater range and power than a mace - although it did require more skill to wield. One of the main advantages of the flail is that it could get around the sides of a shield - something that no other weapon was capable of doing. Its main disadvantage is that it could not be used for blocking. Our Twin Ball Flail is hand crafted in Italy and features a wooden shaft with leather fittings and solid steel balls. This item is designed for display only. The chain is designed to be weak and will snap if used as a weapon.
