Each piece of Silbury Ghost jewellery is individually handmade by Catherine Goodwin in England. After showing her work in an art exhibition she was asked to produce some leaves for the new Stonehenge visitor centre. The bramble leaves are from the Stonehenge area including the King Barrow Ridge and the Fargo Plantation. Bramble leaves were once considered to be the food of the faeries, it was extremely taboo to eat them within Celtic Britain. The leaves are created in pure solid silver which contains no copper. The silver is recycled, made by a company that recycle and reclaim metals and produce silver in a clay form. It is sintered in a kiln just like ceramic clay transforming it into solid precious metal. Every silver piece is signed Silbury Ghost.
