Help preserve one of Londons great stately homes with English Heritages exclusive Emma Bridgewater Mug.Kenwood House stands magnificently atop Hampstead Heath, paying homage to the great architect Robert Adam who re-modelled the house in the 18th century. Bequeathed to the nation in 1927 on the death of its owner, Edward Cecil Guinness, it houses an internationally important collection of masterpieces including works by Vermeer, Constable, Rembrandt and Turner. The house and wider estate are free to visit, for everybody all year round.Our commemorative mug features a charming illustration of Kenwood House and the Dairy by Emma Bridgewaters husband, Matthew. It is made of cream-coloured earthenware in Stoke-on Trent, home to pottery manufacturing since the 17th century. Each mug is individually hand-decorated, making each one unique.
